Welwitchia Secondary School Visit

Prof Erkki Sutinen and Lannie Uwu-khaeb paid a visit to Welwitschia Junior Secondary School in Khorixas, Namibia on 10th August 2022.

They were welcomed by HOD Ms. Zelda and had a talk about different activities that the school offers to their children and how it has benefited and helped changed the lives of many. They also talked about how the University of Turku could work together with them in the near future.

Students were very excited and showed a lot of zeal as they talked about their future plans and suggesting activities like self driving cars that they would like to see at their school.
