University of Namibia

The University of Namibia, or UNAM for short, is host to our Namibia Campus. The University is the largest and leading National institution of higher education in Namibia.  It is a diverse institution with a student population from 41 countries and from all continents. Although a relatively young university, it has grown to support a student population of over 30,144 this year. UNAM consists of 12 campuses and 11 regional centres spread throughout the country, but our UTU Campus is located on the main UNAM campus in southern Windhoek.


Trailblazing first UNESCO Summer School held in Africa – the UNESCO Southern Summer School 2020

The University of Namibia in  partnership with The  University of Turku from Finland and the Universita della Svizzera Italiana from Switzerland, hosted, earlier this year,  a first of its kind “The 2020 UNESO chair South Summer school”.
